I’m personally excited for Wolf Alice after their Top 10 worthy debut album last year, as well as some local talent courtesy of Blossoms. Music Festival, Good Vibrations, Groovin the Moo, Listen Out, Parklife and Soundwave. And although it’s not quite my cup of tea, I’m sure there are many who are excited for the likes of Chase and Status or Andy C – and luckily there’s some electronic music more to my tastes thanks to Jamie XX and Four Tet. Parklife Festival are proud to announce names for their 2016 edition set to take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June at Manchesters iconic Heaton Park. MANCHESTER has been named as the host venue for the World Rugby Under-20 Championships in 2016.Top of the bill this year we have the Mancunian electronic pioneers, The Chemical Brothers as well as dance music giant Major Lazer. Hosted by the RFU, the tournament will take place at AJ Bell Stadium, home of Sale Sharks, and Manchester City’s Academy Stadium, offering back-to-back international rugby in June next year. The annual event, which is currently taking place in Italy, is contested by 12 national teams at under-20 level, showcasing future stars of rugby union. Parklife 2016 - Studio Manchester Parklife 2019 Festival Studio Moross creates 80s-inspired PARKLIFE FESTIVAL - Parklife 2020 is Parklife Festival 2019. The Chemical Brothers, Major Lazer, and Ice Cube will headline. First up is Parklife which enters into its seventh year and takes place at Heaton Park in Manchester. Previously known as the Junior World Championship, the tournament was introduced in 2008. The double festival duo of Parklife and Wild Life have dropped down lineups for June 11-12, 2016.
